Premier League Matchweek 6: Fixtures, Kick-Off Times and Where the Season Stands
The Premier League comes back on Saturday 10 October after a 19-day pause, with ten matches spread across three days. Manchester City arrive at Anfield on Sunday with a perfect record, Arsenal open the round at home to an unbeaten Leeds United, and Manchester United host a Tottenham side still looking for their first win. Below: the full Matchweek 6 schedule in BST and Beijing time, the points the teams come back to, and the shirts for four of the weekend’s headline fixtures.
Why there has been no Premier League football for 19 days
The 2026/27 season has used a revised international calendar. Instead of the usual September and October windows, national teams got one extended break running from 21 September to 6 October, with room for up to four matches per country. The Premier League played Matchweek 5 on 20 September and does not play again until Matchweek 6 on 10 October — a 19-day gap, longer than the standard fortnight.
Three of the season’s five unbeaten records survived the pause untouched: Manchester City’s five wins from five, Brentford’s unbeaten start, and Leeds United’s run to the international break without a defeat — the first time Leeds have managed that in the top flight since 2001/02.

Saturday 12:30 · Emirates Stadium
Arsenal v Leeds United
Arsenal open the round as defending champions, and they do it four days short of three weeks since their last match — a 3-0 defeat at Brighton that ended a perfect start and left them second on 12 points.
Leeds come to the Emirates unbeaten under Daniel Farke: two wins and three draws, nine points, and only three goals conceded in five games. The early kick-off is the first fixture of the restart.

Saturday 15:00 · Stamford Bridge
Chelsea v AFC Bournemouth
Chelsea sit tenth on seven points, with ten goals scored and twelve conceded — the most leaky record of any side in the top half. They had won two in a row before the break.
Bournemouth arrive without a win from their opening five, with three draws to their name.

Saturday 17:30 · Old Trafford
Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur
The late game on Saturday puts two struggling heavyweights together. Manchester United are twelfth on five points, with eight scored and eight conceded.
Tottenham are bottom on two points: no wins, three defeats, and two goals in five matches — the club’s worst opening to a Premier League season.

Sunday 16:30 · Anfield
Liverpool v Manchester City
The pick of the weekend. Manchester City have won all five of their matches and lead on 15 points, with Erling Haaland top of the scoring charts on five goals.
Liverpool are unbeaten under Andoni Iraola with two wins and three draws, and Alexander Isak is second in the league on four — so the division’s two leading scorers share a pitch at Anfield in the last match of the weekend’s middle day.

The rest of the weekend
Aston Villa host Brentford at Villa Park, Sunderland welcome the division’s top scorers Brighton at the Stadium of Light, and Ipswich Town play Fulham at Portman Road — all at 15:00 on Saturday. Sunday’s early games are Crystal Palace v Nottingham Forest at Selhurst Park and Hull City v Everton at the MKM Stadium, and the round closes on Monday night with Coventry City v Newcastle United.
